7 Chakras

Chakra is a concept of yoga. These chakras are believed to control various functions in our body. Chakras are the energy centres of the body. When there is positive energy around us, it means the 7 chakras are in the right direction and fully charged. These 7 chakras represents where the vital energy points are in the human bod. They are located in the body, along the spine, starting from the foot and going up to the head. 


There are 7 Chakras or Shaktisthanas in our body, through which the life force circulates. When the chakras are blocked, then the best way to release the energy trapped in the body is Yoga, Because through these yogasanas, we can keep these chakras in the body stimulated and balanced. Yogasana is not only for the body or physical fitness but also to gain your mental fitness too. That is why Yogasana is the best exercise for balancing the chakras. 


Types of these 7 chakras are as follows:-

1. Muladhara Chakra – Root Chakra

2. Svadhishthana Chakra – Sacral Chakra

3. Manipura Chakra – Solar Plexus Chakra

4. Anahata Chakra – Heart Chakra

5. Vishuddha Chakra – Throat Chakra

6. Ajna Chakra – Third Eye Chakra

7. Sahastrar Chakra – Crown Chakra


A specific vibration, color and sound are related to the 7 chakras. They have a powerful effect on our health, our mental state, and our relationships with others. Your lifestyle, environment and surroundings, past experiences etc. based on various factors like this, the cycles of these 7chakras can be either balanced or imbalanced. For their best work, your chakras need to be balanced


You can use the following tools to balance the cycle:

1. Meditation: Meditation helps to clear the mind and removes negativity from the person.

2. Yogasanas: Yogasanas help the chakras to improve their function. They also pave the way for chakras to heal themselves.

3. Balanced Diet: The main cause of imbalance in the cycles of our chakras is unbalanced diet. A balanced diet helps maintain balance in the body.

4. Breathing: Breathing helps to increase the flow of oxygen in the body and removes stagnant life.
