Muladhara Chakra
In all 7chakras, the first and full of vital energy chakra is the Muladhara Chakra.Today let’s talk about Muladhara Chakra, balancing the Muladhara Chakra creates a solid foundation for opening remaining chakras.
Muladhara:- Mula means “root” and adhara means “base/support.” So it is also known as “Root Chakra.”
Let’s have some basic and important information about Muladhara Chakra at a glance:-
~Seed Mantra or Beeja mantra of Muladhara Chakra is “Lam ( लं )”. The Lam mantra is considered one of the universal sounds in tantric yoga. When you chant this mantra, the sound create positive vibrations in the body, and these vibrations help the cells to work together in a rythemic or synchronised manner. Chanting LAM can therefore help to open up feelings of security, prosperity and belonging. The vibrations from the Lam mantra are believed to cleanse and activate the Muladhara chakra.
In general, chanting mantra helps oxygenate the brain, reduce your heart rate and blood pressure, and create calm brainwave activity.
~Element of Muladhara Chakra is “Earth.” Muladhara chakra is the grounding force that allows us to connect to the earth energies. According to various spiritual studies or traditions, this chakra has to do with feeling grounded, safe, at home in your body, and connected to the Earth. Keeping us rooted to our inner self spreads positivity and happiness in life. It relates to our basic, primal needs of survival, stability, and support. It derives energy from the earth.
~Color for Muladhara Chakra is “Red.” Red color is linked to our physical and emotional needs of survival and self-preservation. In other words, red is a color symbolizes energy, action, confidence, courage, and change. This color brings passion and strength to your relationships, your life and your work. On an emotional level, the red color represents the emotion of anger. The Red color in Muladhara chakra teaches us how to deal with our anger and convert it into something positive.
~Location of Muladhara Chakra is “ Base of the Spine.” It is located at the bottom of tailbone and forms the roots for our spiritual development so it is also called as “Root chakra.” This is just an Introduction to Muladhara chakra.
